About the Author
Norman L. Geisler, Ph.D., is currently Chancellor and Distinguished Professor of Apologetics at Veritas Evangelical Seminary in Santa Ana, CA. He also serves as Distinguished Senior Professor of Theology and Apologetics at Southern Evangelical Seminary, which he co-founded in 1992. He previously served as a professor at some of the finest seminaries in the U.S., including Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Dallas Theological Seminary. He has authored or co-authored over 100 books and hundreds of articles.Douglas E. Potter, D.Min., is an assistant professor and Director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Southern Evangelical Seminary. He has been teaching Christian theology and apologetics for over a decade and is an author or co-author of several books.

I took Survey of Bible Doctrine course at SES for my undergrad work in Fall '15; great book, clear, concise, informative. Good for theology students or laypersons; it will help believers get a better overview of the faith as well as gaining a better understanding for interpreting Scripture, for doctrine and devotionals.

Not the best Christie, but still worth reading

So Many Steps to Death is one of Agatha Christie’s mysteries that focus on foreign intrigue. The time frame is the years right after WW II when Communism was a major threat. Scientists are disappearing and British security agent Jessop sets out to find out why. Thomas Betterton, the discoverer of ZE Fisson, is the latest missing scientist. Jessop is suspicious of his wife, Olive, who says she needs to go on a vacation, but Jessop suspects that she is on her way to meet her husband. She meets an untimely death and a woman who is about to commit suicide takes her place. The story continues through the usual twists and turns of a Christie plot. A number of scientists turn up at an unspecified location and work in a highly controlled environment. Characters, who may be innocent or not, appear as the story winds through Morocco and mysterious locations to the inevitable surprise ending.

I rate this book at three stars because it is not nearly as good as the best of the Christie stories such as Murder on the Orient Express, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and, for me, the Poirot mysteries. Still, any Christie book is worth reading.

Undercover Lovers hits the mark~

Kyle and Ross were dynamic together in RJ Scott’s newest Bodyguarsd Inc., Undercover Lovers.

Receiving a call from a long-time friend and professional ally, Kyle goes into action—all the other bodyguards are on assignment—and takes PA Ross as his compatriot. They are to ‘watch’ and American scientist who have been targeted. The assignment wouldn’t be so difficult if Ross was an agent and not the organizations OCD coordinator or even better if Kyle wasn’t in love with the younger man.

Ms. Scott quickly catapulted us into a world of intrigue and tension as Kyle and Ross danced around their undercover married status, putting on lovey-dovey airs while staying close to their mark Paul, aka Marcus. Both men are frustrated as each one wants their relationship to take a different turn yet both fearful of the repercussions.

I loved the dynamics between Kyle and Ross. They have a friendship based on work and admiration which makes their jobs run flawlessly. Ms. Scott’s portrayal of Kyle—the big, bad stoic owner of Bodyguards, Inc.—yet the gentle giant who delivered a sensual dance with Ross when the two men finally succumbed to their passions.

As always in an RJ Scott series, the characters are an integral part of each other’s stories and she never forgets to add the small nuances which make us laugh or swoon. No spoilers, (but Ross gets Adam back).

Sensual and sexy, RJ Scott delivers another winner in the Bodyguards Inc. series. Undercover Lovers hit the mark.

By far, this is my favorite Bodyguards Inc book. Ross and Kyle together has been something we've been waiting for since the very first book. Ms. Scott definitely didn't disappoint,

Kyle is desperately in love with Ross. He's convinced that the ten or more years he has on Ross make him father material instead of lover material in Ross' eyes. He's spent the last three books pining away pitifully for his youthful assistant, breaking the heart of every reader that has ever picked up a Bodyguard's Inc book. But Ms. Scott throws a wonderful twist in this book, for the first time, we get to see thing from Ross' perspective, and instantly we see what Kyle can't, that Ross is just as attracted to him, living in the misery of his own creation as well.

There are suspenseful elements to this book, but the truth is, the real story, is the discovery of love between two people who failed to see what was waiting right in front of them all along.

Well worth the wait!

This is the LONG awaited story of Kyle and Ross. We have seen them, in previous books, tease, argue and snip at each other and we knew, we KNEW something else was going on between these two, even if neither realized the other had feelings for them. Finally, we got to see and feel how they felt about each other, watch as it grew and see the end result. It was amazing to read! As always I enjoyed seeing others from previous books and meeting new people. This was well worth the wait and I for one have only one problem with this book, as I seem to with all Ms. Scott's books and it is this....they end! Why can't they just go on and on? Seriously though , this was a wonderful story, one that I will re read over and over again as I look forward to the next book R.J. Scott is working on for us.

Unique format and an easy read

This is a perfect easy read for people just starting to learn about cameras for film and video, along with other supporting equipment. It reads as if you were reading "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", except it's teaching you at the same time. We purchased this for our son that isn't really a reader. He can read of course, but he just doesn't like to. He likes the format.
