This is a great book for people who are coming from other countries into the United States and need to learn English. My aunt recently came from another country and her English has improved well in a short amount of time. She needed this book for her class and she has not had any complaints about it.

This book is amazing! In the short 36 pages, the reader is able to really sit and put into perspective how important your life choices can be. I personally feel like I was able to look at my choices from the past and understand why my life took the crazy turns it did. I was also able to focus on my choices of the present to prepare me for a much better future. This book is something that is needed in today's society, there are several ideas throughout that teens need to really grasp before they lose themselves in the media and social networks. After reading, I am now confident that I can now gain enough focus to really make my dreams come true. I would definitely recommend.

I like it...mostly!

While the book is indeed riddled with typos, the content is impressively concise. The authors do a great a job focusing on what's relevant in the context of taking the exam and at the same time offer a healthy dose of pointers for more in-depth study. This makes it easy to adapt your pace going through the book, based on your existing knowledge level.

A good example is Objective 4.2: Implement Azure Storage tables - best "to the point" explanation of a concept I've seen in a long time! Pay special attention to the thought experiments, objective summaries and reviews at the end of each objective. They are packed with extra information not explicitly stated in the objectives themselves. Also, watch for questions styled like "which of the following are NOT true" as they can throw you off.

Beyond preparing for the exam, this book will likely make a good reference later on, while trying to maneuver the vast landscape of the Azure behemoth. The only downside is that Azure changes so rapidly, some of the nomenclature used in the book is already obsolete (e.g. web sites are now called web apps in the portals). Also the existence of 2 management portals makes things more complicated than it should be! But c'est la Microsoft, not the fault of the book.

At the risk of stating the obvious, one final warning - this is not a book to learn the underlying technology, it's a book to help you prepare for the exam. Sure, the reader learns a lot of new things but it's not a starting point to learn Azure. There WILL be code in the exam and there WILL be case questions. I am giving the book 4 stars because it does not show any examples of case-based questions where time-management is very important (which would be helpful for preparing you for the exam).

Helped with exam - keeping as a reference

Used this book while studying for the 70-532 exam. Its NOT a 'exam-dump' but does cover all the core exam principles nicely. Also a good practical Azure Developer overview guide with a great deal of step by steps. Passed my exam first shot with a 710 on 700. This book was definitely a great asset. Keeping the book on the shelf as a good Azure reference asset.

Great product in general, would be 5 stars if there weren't so many silly typos in the book. Keeps you on your toes though. Makes you say hmmm.... I understand this stuff so well now that that word MUST be a typo. Clever design? Maybe.

Make a Bigger Impact With Less Effort... I LIKE IT!

Honestly, at first I got this book because I loved the cover on the front, so it piqued my interest enough to buy it. Then, once I started reading it, I really got into it! I'm an avid book reader and it takes a lot to hold my interest, but I read this book from front to back in nearly one sitting. The layout is really nice and not dull like many other books I've read (they all look the same)... it uses great fonts that bring attention to the most important messages. I'm not going to be a spoiler and tell you all the details... but you should definitely grab this book if you need a great pick-me-up and perhaps a total mindset shift!

Great read, easy to understand

This is a great read. Mathew has done a great job in explaining different concepts and scientific facts on the brain, our energy body and the universe. As a Quantum Energy practitioner I have experienced various teachings that are discussed in a very technical manor making it difficult to grasp, however Allow is easy for everyone to understand. There is so much information out there that keeps a person in their head, where the answers are not. This book will show you a better way to change, fix a problem or attract a goal.

Gary Armstrong is Crist W. Blackwell Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Undergraduate Education in the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds undergraduate and masters degrees in business from Wayne State University in Detroit, and he received his Ph.D. in marketing from Northwestern University. Dr. Armstrong has contributed numerous articles to leading business journals. As a consultant and researcher, he has worked with many companies on marketing research, sales management, and marketing strategy.

But Professor Armstrong’s first love has always been teaching. His long-held Blackwell Distinguished Professorship is the only permanent endowed professorship for distinguished undergraduate teaching at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has been very active in the teaching and administration of Kenan-Flagler’s undergraduate program. His administrative posts have included Chair of Marketing, Associate Director of the Undergraduate Business Program, Director of the Business Honors Program, and many others. Through the years, he has worked closely with business student groups and has received several UNC campuswide and Business School teaching awards. He is the only repeat recipient of school’s highly regarded Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, which he received three times. Most recently, Professor Armstrong received the UNC Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching, the highest teaching honor bestowed by the sixteen-campus University of North Carolina system.

Very good book, with definitions and examples. This was the prescribed book for my graduate-level Marketing class and I only wish I had had more time to read it. Definitely worth keeping for future reference as well.

This was a good one. Young girls should read this. It would've be great if there was a wise one for Nat to speak to. She was literally treated like a live doormat or like carp under Julius' shoes. I can't believe the amount of women this dude sleep with. It was disgusting. I know he's young, but like wow. He was like 24 hour 7-11. Natalia was young, naive and dumb. Of course it didn't help that her mom had her at 15. What could she teach her when she was a young girl herself with adults in her life. It's like a cycle you see today. There was enough drama and no need for the drug stuff or 11 karat rings and expensive shopping. It would be nice to just show struggling teens with no guidance trying to mature in today's society. That's enough drama. I like this book because it shows the naive thoughts of young girl falling in love for the first time and allowing someone to treat like she not worth anything. From the cheating to the abuse, she feels like this guy is her only salvation. It also shows a young man that wants to do right by his girl, but can't because he's young as well with no parents. He's been his own since early teens and been around nasty girls that only want him for financial reasons and status as his girl because he's known drug dealer. Julius is hurting on the inside and only person that cares is Nat. She doesn't care about the money and is so naive that she probably doesn't know about the drugs. I know she only 17, but she needs to grow up and get a backbone. She needs to fight for herself. Don't let Julius or anyone walk over her like that. It saddened me how she thought so low of herself and let Julius abuse her and cheat like that. Julius really needs a taste of his own medicine. He treats women like crap and doesn't deserve Nat. I hope she matured in part 2 which I'm about to read.

I was really into this book like emotionally drawn in it. I was mad when they gave a sneak of kiesha and trigga lol. Can't wait for part 2! Nat made me mad cause she should've been checked Julius and quit leading Frank on but I recommend if you looking a good read. Good Job!

All I can say is Julius is a male wh??e and he's crazy. He always want things to go his way.and Natalie is so naive she can't even think straight, I blame her mom because she didn't show her what love suppose to look like. I hope someone come to her rescue before it's to late. I think all these side chicks have some sort of low self esteem because they keep running up behind this man that don't care about them and he tells them in their faces what's it all about.SMH
