Lots of screen shots - very little useful text - Not well written - Does not integrate the concepts

I was hoping for a book that would be a really good guide to PeopleSoft nVision. The author treats the reader like you are taking a cheap on-line class. This book is pretty useless if you don't have a PeopleSoft instance and can work the book examples as you read. Take two stars off for this. About 36% into the book it becomes muddled with boring screen shots and I lost interest in it and stopped reading it. Take one more star off for that. It is also clear this book is written by someone who does not know English well. It lacks clear and concise descriptions and narratives in some areas that the nVision Peoplebook has (free from Oracle). The book is basically falls into a series of screen shots with no good teaching or learning methodology behind it. It is divided by chapters based on nVision functionality. It does not really discuss how to integrate this functionality well. It feels like the author is saying to the reader follow the screen shots and maybe you will learn something. I did wade on with the book with the help of coffee and my own PeopleSoft instance on one of my computers at home. As best as I can figure the author is a technical consultant who does not have an education background. If you have to learn nVision - this book will prove more frustrating than useful to a new user.

Not very useful with Kindle

The graphics are too small to view on kindle. I would prefer hard copy. I tried to using USB to view on larger screen, was not successfuly opening link on PC.
